70000 Tons of Metal - The World's Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise

"some music was meant to stay underground..."

The Defaced have set the title for their upcoming album and have entered the studio

Sweden's The Defaced, featuring Darkane guitarist Klas Ideberg and Soilwork drummer Henry Ranta, have set Karma In Black as the title of their forthcoming sophomore effort, which is currently being produced by Ideberg and Rickard Larsson at Queenstreet Recording studios. 11 songs will be recorded for the CD, including a bonus track for the Japanese version of the disc. According to the band, "we've had a production meeting to discuss the ideas of the sound of the album, and we definitely share the same ideas. The aim can most easily be explained as to creating a fat, pounding and raw sound!" In musical terms, "the [new] material seems very impressive indeed. More grooves and melodies have been added to the sound as a natural progression from Domination Commence. And this without compromising roughness and attitude."

A late 2002/early 2003 release through Italy's Scarlet Records is expected.
