The Haunted have written Nine Songs for their upcoming CD

Swedish high-energy thrashers The Haunted have completed "about nine songs" their forthcoming third full-length CD, due in early 2003 through Earache Records, according to a posting from bassist Jonas Björler on the group's official web site. "The process of writing songs usually starts off with one good riff or a good rhythm idea, and then the song basically writes itself. Everybody has input to every song, and that gives the songs the diversity that is hard to achieve when you write a song totally on your own."

As previously reported, The Haunted have booked five weeks at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden beginning on August 26th for the recording of the follow-up to the quintet's acclaimed Made Me Do It CD (2000).
