Megadeth Have Too Many Tour Dates?

MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine has posted the following message in the "Forums" section of the band's official web site:

"I just wanted to check in real qwik. We are back in Tel Aviv, and the band is in the best 'spirits' I have seen us all in for quite some time now.

"Glen [Drover, guitar] and Shawn [Drover, drums] are already disinfecting a few small square yards of sand to sunbathe all day tomorrow on, and I hear James [Lomenzo] holding court again behind me, as I witnessed last year with the mighty ANTHRAX and hisself in Japan. We are also very ecstatic with the way that the shows all went down this last leg in the UK and Europe.

"I am trying to determine which way the wind is blowing today (metaphorically speaking), and where we will tour next (we have so many dates that we are turning them down!!!), because we are sitting on a really great new record, and we are beside and supported by the best fans in the world.

"I have a list in my cell of all of the territories, and the excitement from the different countries, the promoters, the labels, and most importantly . . . you, our friends and fans from all around the globe.

"I can't wait to take the stage tomorrow night and finish what we started a couple years ago here in Israel. I hope that the young fan that broke his/her leg back then is better and will be at the show.

"Lastly, thanks to everyone that helped serve on this tour bringing this new record and fantastic line-up back to your faithful Droogies and so many countries that we have not had the luxury to play again for some time.

"I wish you were all here with me today; we would've had fun!!!"

I can only name one "zero", RIDE THE LIGHTNING, and "god", that's only because Dave co-wrote half those tunes. Metallica's been dead since Dave left and Lars started "speaking", besides, no one in Metallica can play or write 1/2 as good as Dave. If you 2 like Metallica so damn much then post a comment under Metallica.

Buddy , I once was , and still am a Metallica fan and all you need to know (if you know anything about music) is that Dave Mustaine has a far more complex chord structur (in general) then Metallica. His musical theory is far superior and one would argue that Metallica took a lot from him prior to his departure (i'm sure they have taken from each other to a degree , all music draws from some influence) and as far as the last albums they both put out, Megadeth wins, hands down.

I do not hate St. Anger ,like most people, but if you try the old late 90's addage concerning Megadeth's sell-out , I will stop you short with my LOAD to remind you that Metallica did the same thing, just sooner (and don't forget that with the death of Heavy Metal in the mid 90's , everybody had to try something to stay current).

As far as the past (80's) Metallic would win, then again, after kicking Dave out and stealling all of his influence, they had plenty of material to RIDE with the PUPPETS of the 80's.

The next album from Metallic will tell all.

The first problem is that you call yourself "god". The second problem is: Metallica sold out YEARS ago. They have sucked for quite some time. Dave Mustaine has stayed true to metal, and continues to ROCK!

Oh yeah...Metallica had 4 SUPERB records. But then what the hell happened? Megadeth had 4 SUPERB records. And then, miraculously enough, they continued to have SUPERB records. Metallica...where has your good stuff gone? *scratches head*
