LOL these guys make me laugh. Not trying to insult them but I listen to them they sound okay but for some reason they crack me up. I used to be a big fan but I got kinda bored of them you can only listen to German vocals so many times, I tried to learn how to speak german because of these guys........it didn't work out

I was the same way. Sehnsucht was the big album when I started listening, and I was in high school then. I took a copy of the lyrics to "Spiel Mit Mir" into my class so I could translate them, and it turned out the song was about going to bed with your brother. Dead serious. After that, I've never tried to translate much of their lyrics. But they ARE real fun to listen to. Except for Rosenrot. And half of Reise, Reise. Much love though, they're hardworking and painfully precise, and that goes pretty far in today's metal.

That's probably the worst song you could translate. Alter Mann from Sehnsucht is a great start. On the Reise, Reise album, there is a song called Dalai Lama. It's obviously got a dark theme, but it's sad. Check out www.herzeleid.com for lyrics and translations. German is a great language to learn, and I am semi fluent now, after 7 years of learning.
Good luck! And I can't wait for album #6 - not counting Live aus Berlin or Volkerball.
