Harptallica Release Tribute To Metallica
Clasically trained harp duo Harptallica have released their self-produced debut, "Harptallica - A Tribute" on iTunes to coincide with the completion of the full-length CD. Tour dates are to be announced across the Midwest and East Coast in September.
You can also check out several of their songs by streaming them on their MySpace page.
Ashley Toman and Patricia Kline, both recipients of Master of Music Degrees from Rochester, NY's Eastman School of Music, formed Harptallica originally to perform a series of arrangements based on the music of Metallica.
While taking the next step in bringing their harps on the road, Harptallica hopes both to introduce audiences to new and original combinations of musical styles and to of course give tribute to a band they were both introduced to as a 'musical giant': Metallica.

I added a link to their MySpace, where there are currently 4 songs to stream. The iTunes link was because it was an announcement of the simultaneous release on iTunes... I agree that they have nothing on Apocalytptica, however, who manage to reproduce the aggression and energy in many of their songs. It's still interesting to me. Regardless of what you think of Metallica, their early material had great composition, which is why it can be reproduced in so many varying styles and still work.

this "band" is a fun idea but they dont compare to Apocalyptica and their covers.
