Symphony X Bassist To Play On Operatika Album

New Jersey-based symphonic/operatic metallers OPERATIKA have announced that all bass parts on the band's forthcoming album will be recorded by Michael LePond from SYMPHONY X. The CD is almost complete and will be released later this year.

OPERATIKA parted ways with bassist Stan Folcik in January. The band's "Dreamworld" four-song EP came out in 2005.

Jun. 05 - BB King - New York, NY (opening for DORO)
Sep. 28 - The Chance Theater - Poughkeepsie, NY (opening for SONATA ARCTICA)
Oct. 06 - Starland Ballroom - Sayreville, NJ (opening for OVERKILL, EPICA)
