A studio mix of another new GUNS N' ROSES song, "There Was a Time", was leaked on Sunday, May 6, making it the fourth new GN'R track in two days to be released via the Internet ("The Blues", "Chinese Democracy" and "I.R.S." were leaked two days earlier). "There Was a Time" (also known as "T.W.A.T.") was played live only twice — at the first New York City warm-up show on May 12, 2006 and Madrid, Spain on May 25, 2006 — and was mentioned as one of GN'R singer Axl Rose's favorites in an interview he gave to Rolling Stone magazine in January 2006. All tracks are rumored to be set for inclusion on GUNS N' ROSES' upcoming album "Chinese Democracy".
"Chinese Democracy" is the first GUNS N' ROSES album since the 1993 covers collection "The Spaghetti Incident". In the ensuing decade, the group has lost every original member besides singer Axl Rose and burned through a reported $13 million in recording expenses.
Longtime GUNS N' ROSES associate Del James revealed in a February 2007 online posting that "Chinese Democracy" was in the "mixing" stage.
GUNS N' ROSES has announced that the band's 2007 world tour will begin on June 2 in Monterrey, Mexico. Launch dates in South Africa and Japan were bumped due to a wrist injury sustained by bassist Tommy Stinson.

Axl is a wanker.. who treats his fans like crap..... Just because he is a great singer doesn't make him a god.... like he thinks (keep dreaming axl).... just a red dude who has some type of weird hair inplants (don't tell me that hair real hair, cover up job...lol)) who's fan needs a give him the flick... the band will never be the same without the other boys... Axl you didn't make G'N'R on your own, so stop acting like you did.. i hope you sell 2 copies of your new record.. but i know that won't happen.. but still you might not sell are many as you think.. big Bad Axl might owe the record company some money... now that would be intresting ......?

so f***ing full of themselves, well, when they were, typical "hard bastard long-p***y-hair" band, "let's get a perm, and mouth off to/about other bands, that'll make us respected and loved 'cause we're hard" fair enough slash is an amazing guitarist, but he's a wanker, and as for axel rose, need i say more. complete set of twats. thank you please.

C,MON..... they're talking about songs made in 06 and 07, that not chinese democracy, thats a lot of new sh** no one wants to hear, and calling it C.D., so that maybe it would sell a few albums. the original C.D. concept, music, and lyrics will never beheard, and anything axl puts out will be a poor substitute with a lot of generic tracks that will be the biggest farce in metal history. but thats just how i see it...HIMMM!!!!

from what ive heard (all the leaked demos and live tracks) it sounds great, not exactly the same as the old guns, but lets face it its not the old guns. you think the old band members had much say in the way the tracks were layed? no they didnt! so who cares if slash isnt in it, had axl got the current gnr line up and gave the band a new name there wouldnt be so much flack about what he is doing, who gives a fu(k what there called, it sounds good to me

have heard only the live recordings of all the songs and think they are pretty good....no where near AFD ot UYI but will not pass judgement untill I hear the finished product....I love Axl and Gnr and always will....they are not arseholes or twats....Axl is a very misunderstood genius....and when all is said and done,he (along with Slash) will go down as rock heroes...by the way does anyone know where I can get those leaks????......please please please.......
