Slayer cause mayhem in London when their signing session brought in too many people
Slayer caused mayhem during their in-store signing session at HMV's Oxford Street store in London, England on Tuesday, July 16th, according to Kerrang!.
A spokesperson for HMV's press department told the magazine, "It was total pandemonium, people arrived for Slayer as soon as the doors opened at 9:30 AM, by lunch there was a queue around the block, and it got so busy that unfortunately we had to stop any more people from joining the queue."
The band arrived a little late after "losing" guitarist Jeff Hanneman, but took to the stage at about 6:30 PM to begin signing. Over 1,000 people reportedly turned up and Slayer spent over two hours "signing bums, boobs and everything in between."
