70000 Tons of Metal - The World's Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise

"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Evergrey has begun writing songs for their new album, tentatively titled Recreation Day

Swedish metallers Evergrey are currently working on the follow-up to last year's In Search of Truth tentatively titled, Recreation Day.

"The songwriting is going extremely well," states guitarist and vocalist Tom S. Englund. "As a matter of fact, I today brought home two new songs with me and I am listening to them right now and must say, it sounds fuckin great.... 'More of everything' is something we live by, so you know what to expect."

Continues Englund: "We have probably, or most likely, found a new keyboard player who is also contributing in the songwriting in a great way, but we won't announce or go public with this until we are totally sure of where we stand, so stay tuned on this one..."

Evergrey are expected to enter an unspecified studio with producer Neil Kernon (Queensryche, Red Harvest) to record their fourth album for an early 2003 release through Inside Out Music
