"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Acclaimed producer Andy Sneap has been in discussions with Opeth about mixing the group's forthcoming two CDs

Acclaimed producer Andy Sneap has been in discussions with Opeth about mixing the group's forthcoming two CDs, which they're scheduled to begin recording at Nacksving/Maestro Music studios on July 22nd with producer Fredrik Nordström.

As previously reported, Opeth are planning on issuing two separate CDs at the same time—one heavy, one mellow. The heavy CD will be typical Opeth with all its ingredients, including mellow parts, while the "mellow" CD will have more laid-back material. A late 2002 or early 2003 release is expected.
