Belgium's Arkangel have cancelled their upcoming North American Tour, citing lack of label support

Belgium's Arkangel have cancelled their upcoming United States and Canadian tour, citing a lack of support from their record label, Good Life Recordings. The tour was to commence this month and included a performance at Hellfest. In a statement released via their management company, Fuel Music, had this to say:

"As most of you may know Arkangel was scheduled for a US/Candian Tour this summer including playing Hellfest. Despite the efforts of their management and US/Canadian promoters, unfortunatly the band has been FORCED to cancel their tour and their Hellfest date due to the complete lack of label support. We are extremely dissapointed that we will miss Hellfest this year and all of the shows that were organized for us. We are outraged at the lack of honesty, support and professionalism that our label has displayed during this. Be sure that anyone who was looking forward to seeing us play this year in the US and Canada can thank Good Life Recordings for their incredible destructive handeling of this tour. It has been a battle for us for the past year to put our band in a different light and concentrate on the music amid this sea of controversy that seems to follow us, a battle again without the support or consultation of our label. At this point we strongly believe that the failure of this tour is of no help to our difficult efforts to move our band to a more 'normal' light. So to all the promoters, to all the kids, please accept our deepest apologies, we will make it back to N. America one day soon!!!!"

No statement from Good Life has been issued as of yet, but we suspect they'll have an entirely different story.
