Godsmack Announce New U.S. Tour Dates

GODSMACK has lined up the following tour dates:

May 05 - Tom Lee Park (Beale St. Music Fest.) - Memphis, TN
May 06 - Saenger Theater - Mobile, AL
May 08 - Moran Theater - Jacksonville, FL
May 09 - North Charleston PAC - North Charleston, SC
May 11 - Tampa Bay PAC - Tampa, FL
May 12 - Pompano Beach Amp., Pompano Beach, FL
May 13 - Hard Rock Live - Orlando, FL
May 15 - Fox Theater - Atlanta, GA
May 16 - Ovens Auditorium - Charlotte, NC
May 22 - Tower Theater - Upper Darby (Philly), PA
Jun. 01 - State Theatre - Detroit, MI

GODSMACK is continuing to tour in support of its latest album, "IV" (Four), which came out last year.

GODSMACK drummer Shannon Larkin, guitarist Tony Rombola and bassist Robbie Merrill's side project, called ANOTHER ANIMAL, is tentatively scheduled to release its debut disc later in 2007.

Hmm...I remember seeing Godsmack open for Sevendust in Toledo December of 1998. $12 a ticket! Their first album hadn't hit HUGE yet and people were actually booing and laughing at them! Now they're playing in ten arenas per tour and charging 30-40 bucks a ticket. Silly, silly, silly.

I agree. They're not that disappointing in concert, but their style's grown a little tiresome. Godsmack sounds like a Pro-Tools-Cut-And-Paste band. Like Linkin Park, only with more distortion. And better musicians. And better music.

don't bother seein them in concert, i saw em when they played with rob zombie a few months back, they have the most boring set, and for being the headlining band, they sucked. zombie was awesome but godsmack...dissapointint, but that was also expected so yea.
