Static-X Post Another Tune from “Cannibal”
With only three weeks till the release of STATIC-X’s album on April 3, the band wants to give their fans another taste of “Cannibal”. ‘Destroyer’ is the second track off of the new album with the raw heavy sound that Wayne Static wanted to bring this time. “I focused on stripping away the excess as much as possible to write short, simple, catchy songs,” Static says. This back-to-basics style for “Cannibal” has a lot to do with Wayne taking over most of the producer duties. Static teamed with producer/engineer John Travis (Kid Rock, Buckcherry) to help create the new sound. “I had a vision for this record, which is why I wanted to produce it myself,” Static says.

I love static-x. The only thing I don't like it all the techno stuff. That's a little annoying. But over all I like em and I'm definatly going to buy the album.
