Toxik Reunite
Legendary New York progressive thrashers TOXIK are back. Following the recent re-release of their two albums, TOXIK has reunited and is currently rehearsing with the lineup consisting of:
Mike Sanders - Vocals
Josh Christian - Guitar
Brian Bonini - Bass
Lou Caldarola - Drums
The band's original drummer Tad Leger is not taking part in the reunion because he's very busy with other projects - as a guitarist.
Poland's Metal Mind Productions last month released the reissues of the classic TOXIK albums "World Circus" (1988) and "Think This" (1989). Both CDs came in a new digipack edition on golden discs, digitally remastered using 24-bit technology, and are limited to a hand-numbered 2,000 copies. Each title includes two bonus tracks.

Josh Christian still needs to thank the man who taught him to play (LOU). He needs to offer a thanks in a fashion more respectful than the meger acknowledgement he wrote on the inside of Circus. Some of us know what really went down with your solos Josh!!!!!!

Josh: Yeah, I don't know how this rumour got started. My guitar instructor was a local unsung hero named Lou Ubriocco. He is a local legend who trained like 100 students a week. He was a shredder factory;

Holy crap, how come I haven't heard of this band before? There is nothing better than prog thrash, I'm listening to a few of their songs now, pretty killer.
