There is nothing more metal then a band playing unplugged. Korn has followed the likes of other great metal acts as Eric Clapton, Nirvana, and Mariah Carey....... Yessirreeeee KORN is off the hizzle G!! Now get on your adidas and roll up your kneehighs cause wesa gonna party like its 1999!!

well...that wasn't all that bad honestly. i might just have to buy this cd when it comes out, see if they managed to pull off their other songs as well. i still think that Alice in Chains, Clapton and Nirvana did better jobs at the unplugged thing. ohh and goddamn amy lee is hot.

I'm really not much of a Korn fan, I grew out of them many years ago, but when I heard they were going to do an unplugged performance, I wasn't sure it was gonna be to fantastic although I knew I had to see it. But flipping through the channels last night I came across it on MTV. I was amazed, I can't at all call myself a fan of Evenesence, but I enjoyed the song.

Wow. What an amazing performance!! I am the biggest Korn fan and I thought unplugged was not going to sound great but I was totally wrong. Korn amazed me once again by unplugging their instruments and putting on a great show. Well done show along with the beautiful Amy Lee.

This is going to be a nu battleground thread....
If only Amy Lee would turn the darkside...Find herself a professional doom outfit to co-front with a deathmetal singer that has his sh** down..
It's sad that Korn have come to this, they were never great to begin with but the first two albums had so much promise.

hmm something is missing. This lady needs to suck my u know what while singing. hehe, joking ofcourse!
well it just doesnt sound right. I think it would be better to get rid of the women and bring back HEAD and drummer. They just didnt seem right. They need to rehaearse also. This is why NIRVANA unplugged in NY was in a different league to this. It seemed all to perfect. Kurt is a perfectionist although he loves things raw.
To be honest, as a Korn fan, I am not too happy with this. Bugger itm, pathetic

Old-school KoRn fan here. FOAL is a Korn classic, and this was a nice update, but I thought the whole "go, go, go" part was kinda lame. JD and Amy should've just gone nuts at that point like in the original. Anyways, too bad David skipped out; he was too busy rolling sushi in Long Beach.

you people that r saying that this sucked are just in denile , u were so surrprised that korn did a good job u couldent handle it. it was very good for acoustic you have to admit that! korn are real musicians thats why they wanted to do unplugged. so stop being hater b****s!

I completely agree with bassmaster!...The fact that Korn teamed up with Amy Lee is incredible. Her voice is amazing. The new acoustic version shows an entirely new side to Korn and to their talent abilities. I suggest that all of you go listen to it again!!! This is one of the best songs ever!!!!

I'll say this, korn are musicians...but "real" musicians? What are you talking about? Playing acoustic doesn't make you better, in this case it made me not like them more. I used to love Korn...up until issues, I think i just grew out of them...all of they're songs sound the same. You want real musicians you should listen to Pantera or Lamb of God...they use their talents. I'd rather losten to fall out boy than korn...and that's sad!
26. writes:
ok first off real musicians are those who like and are open to all sorts of music which korn are! u cant just like metal, u should be open to evrything, or you are not a music lover! I like pantera and lamb of god they have good talent, but soooo does korn! if they dident have talents they woulent have pulled off this acoustic show in the first place! and if you like listening to fall out boy more than KORN well that is sad. who would listen to them eny way? oh cappa would because he's a fag!

"who would listen to them eny way? oh cappa would because he's a fag!"
I guess that discounts you as a musician then? ie, in your own words you should be "open to evrything (ie emo), or you are not a music lover!" Hopefully you can see the fault in your logic.

yes I do, I dont realy like fall out boy but there some of there stuff is ok. and IAM not going to say that fall out boy arnt real musicans because I dont like them like he said about korn. I think u can be open and not like a certain band,( I was talking about style more than bands)but I except fall out boy for who they r. and I do listen to some emo stuff like AFI so dont go off and say Iam not open to that genre of music. lets just get back on topic KORN f***ING RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Korn doesn't use talent...peroid. All their somgs sound the same...and i dont like fall out boy, i was using them as examples for how bad korn is. And it's not the acoustic thing...for an acoustic to sound good, in my opinion, it can;t be tuned down to A, or B, or whatever they tune to...i think it sounded sloppy. Korn was good before Issues.

Did Jonathan fall and hit his head or woke up on the wrong side of the bed.
Come on now, What the hell was he thinking. I love KoRn, but to sing that classic song "Freak on a Leash" unplugged with Amy. Jon needs to step back and take a look at the BIG picture or he may lose fans in a BIG way. I hate to say, but I was soooooooooo hurt but that MTV unplug not even word can't describe it. OH, did David leave the band...

Jon needs to step back and take a look at the BIG picture or he may lose fans in a BIG way. I hate to say, but I was soooooooooo hurt and disappointed that MTV ( which sucks anyway) aired that crap. KoRn needs to get back in touch with the FANS or they will lose the life style they have become accustom too. They will lose the respect of there fans, which includes, YOURS TRULY.

they wont lose fans. maybee a few but they will always be korn fans! and lots of them. if u dont like this acoustic thing thats your opinion, they just like to try new things, it's not like they r gonna go acoustic for the rest of their days! it's just a small chapter in korn's book. and if u are a real fan and u dont like it just put it behind you. simple as that! and if u dont like korn just shut up!

Bassmaster, Beastmister or whatever you call yourself these days.
I am one of the original fans. I've lived in Bakerfield CA and saw them live during there humble beginning. I eat live and breathe KoRn. So as a TRUE KoRn FaN, I'll overlook this error. KORN STILL RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
