Roadrunner Records posted the following concerning Machine Head's new album:

Machine Head will be releasing their new album, The Blackening, through Roadrunner this Spring, and among the various finishing touches being made, we can now reveal the final cover artwork for you HERE.

Is that METAL or what?

Now that the album's music is also 'in the can,' Machine Head will embark on a TOUR with Trivium, Lamb of God and Gojira, starting February 16th - get your tickets today.

Wow cool cover, good to see hand drawn stuff making a comeback, I've never liked the slick computerised images that seem to be abound today. Never been a Machinehead fan so hopefully the music will be as cool as the cover. If you ask me you can see the influence of black metal everywhere today.
