Daysend Post New Song Online
Sydney, Australia-based metallers DAYSEND have posted a new song, entitled "Warning", on their MySpace page. The track comes off the group's upcoming sophomore album, due later in the year. The follow-up to 2003's "Severance", was produced by dw Norton at Backbeach Recording Studios in Victoria, Australia and marks the band's first release with vocalist Mark McKernan.
Commented bassist Meredith Webster: "The songs are definitely in a heavier vein than 'Severance', but we have by no means lost the melodic touch. We've had a pretty full on few years, and it was bound to show in our music — the whole writing and recording process has been pretty cathartic for us all. We are going to bleed these tunes when we take to the stage again!"
