Vader Has Equipment Stolen, More 25th Anniversary Package Details
Polish death metallers VADER have posted the following message on their official web site:
"Some of the band's equipment, including a bass guitar [photos: link & link] belonging to Novy was stolen during VADER's recent visit in Istanbul, Turkey. The guitar represents not only a financial loss to the band, but mainly a hurtful, personal loss to Novy. If anyone has information regarding the stolen bass please, send an e-mail to info@vader.pl . A very special reward is being offered!"
VADER will enter Hertz Studio in Poland in March 2007 to re-record 25 of the best songs from their entire discography for a 25th anniversary release, to be issued in 2008. The set will also include a DVD containing tons of bonus features, such as archival recordings, live shows, video clips and other special material. Jaroslaw Szubrycht, a well-known Polish journalist who recently finished a book about SLAYER, will write a VADER biography.

I hope the son of a b**** who did this gets caught, people have no idea what sort of struggle it is to be in a metal band. The money is a joke, they live to make music - These guys are dedicating their life to crushing metal and this is how some bastard repays them.
