Cool! It would have been even better if there was sound.

There is sound. At least I hope so, otherwise this metal I'm jamming out to is all in my head.

Is it just me or do they have a chick bassist?

There's probably sound. Ever since the great crash of 2005, I have trouble getting internet sound.
Yes, Bolt Thrower has a chick bassist. That's Jo Bench. She's as hot as she is heavy. Bolt Thrower is one of the few modern metal bands that actually let the bassist be heard. Jo thinks it's an honor to be part of a band as true as Bolt Thrower. I like her.

Plus there's something nice about a gal with a guitar larger than herself. It's like your gal in your t'shirt that goes down to her knees. Totally hot!!

I'm not one to promote the bass player, but when the band backs off and let's Jo go, it sounds like a heavier version of the war machine trudging across the plains! Jo can hold it up on her own.

They're a pretty solid band, all their albums are good but Warmaster and Mercenary are good albums, and their last album has got good reviews. Listen to "Cenotaph" or "Behind Enemy Lines".

The intro of the song Return from Chaos off of the Mercenary album has to be some of the heaviest metal ever made.

Bolt Thrower have made some of the heaviest metal ever, not just a few riffs...
The last few weeks have had nothing but Bolt thrower cd's in it, and playing very very loudly.
