Injuries Plague Disturbed Concerts
Disturbed continue to rack up the injuries at their concerts. At their December 21st show at the U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids, IA 13 people were injured. 10 people were treated at St. Luke's Hospital with one taken into surgery. There was a total of 7,186 people in attendance with a maximum capacity of 7,500.
The incident comes after up to 30 people were injured at Disturbed's recent show in in Green Bay, WI due to over-crowding.

Disturbed... they're not very impressive musically but I do admit that without them, I would have never given metal a chance. They were my gateway drug for metal, and now I'm like Courtney Love. In a good way. ;)
As for Saddam, I was truely hoping that he wouldn't have been killed, and instead put back in his position as the leader of Iraq. Say what you want, he may have killed a lot of people, but he knows how to do what the United States army apparently does not, which is keeping the opposing forces in Iraq from starting an all-out civil war. Yeah, just throwing in my two cents.

i bin into metal for 18 years and i gotta tell ya i listen and have an open ear so that i can allways find new music to thrill and excite me.
but these days its few and far between.
disturbed restored my faith in metal of today as well as a couple of other bands,but these guys have a melodicity and power few bands could ever emulate,but what is goin on at these concerts is beyond me.
us metal heads are usually a pleasant friendly lot and have the brains and maturity to not start fights or hurt people and help people when they fall in a mosh its happens to me a lot and some complete strangers have helped me up!
lets not turn into the dumbass clubbers rnbsters or hip hoppers tough guy try and prove your self im top sh** mentality we are a family and allways have been lets keep it that way!!

i think that theres different kinds of heavy and disturbed is a fairly original band so its easy to see why some people cant see the splendor in the brand of metal that disturbed has graced us with. it seems draiman has a dark gift for song writing yet fused with his alternative metal bands sound it hides the darkness of draiman's soul. you make a good point cynic, but this is just my theory about disturbed

f*** Disturbed. They're a sh**ty radio friendly band that hasn't released a decent song in years. The only reason these idiots are hurting each other is because it isn't a community. It's a buch of drunk rednecks that don't give a sh** about themselves or anyone else around them. Shows should be a place where everyone has fun, can hit the pit if they want to, and there is ten people around to pick you up if you get nocked over. Not this bullsh**.

Mosh Pit 101
- Someone goes down, pick them up straight away
- Keep your legs straight when crowd surfing or people will drop you when you kick them in the face
- For f***s sake, hold people up when they want to surf
- Don't take a push personally, throw a punch and the bouncer will knock you out (I've seen it happen)
And lastly, if you think you can stand in the middle of the pit with a pint of beer your a jerk, prepare to be mercilessly targeted. Skull it at the back first. Apart from that go bezerk.
