Firebird gets some new members and looks to begin writing new material

Britain's Firebird, led by former Carcass/Napalm Death guitarist Bill Steer, have landed a new bassist and drummer in the shape of Roger Nilsson and George Atlagic, respectively. Atlagic is no stranger to the Firebird camp, having filled in for previous drummer Ludwig Witt during the group's last European tour after Witt was forced to pull out of the gig due to recording/touring commitments with Spiritual Beggars.

At the moment, the new line-up is rehearsing new songs and looking to release a new studio album at the end of the year. Meanwhile, Firebird are playing their first show in half a year and first time ever in continental Europe on June 15th at Transvision festival in Graz, Austria.
