Heaven and Hell To Headline UK's Download Fest
According to a posting on Spain's MariskalRock.com web site, Ronnie James Dio revealed during an appearance at the Classic Rock Roll of Honour event in London Monday night (Nov. 6) that HEAVEN AND HELL — the new band featuring Dio alongside original BLACK SABBATH members Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward — will headline next year's Download festival, set to take place in June 2007 at Donington Park, Leicestershire, England. The group, named after the first post-Ozzy Osbourne SABBATH album, is expected to announce many other festival appearances during 2007.

Yeah that's true I think they'd go better at MOR. I went to last years which was great (even though I thought Queensryche were sh** and Thunder weren't much better) and I went to Download 2005 too. MOR was more of a rip off when it came to prices though I thought. I enjoyed both festivals immensly though. I was considering going to Download again next year but I really couldn't give two f***s about Heaven and Hell as I never liked the Dio-era Sabbath or Dio in general so I'll see who else is playing and decide nearer the time.

Download ticket prices are ridiculous and so is the price for anything else on site but i'll probably still attempt to go to that... i'd love to see dio era sabbath live. what's the point in getting trivium and tool back again, people don't want to see the same bands every year? i suppose trivium didn't have their new album out before this year's ut tool headlined friday this year, i don't see the point in that.

I'm already planning to go to Wacken again. Better line ups better prices and cheaper, even though it means traveling to Germany..
Cant really care much about a sabbath reformation, it would be a novelty to see them but my ex loved dio and she's an evil hell b****, so i wouldnt much enjoy it anyway.

As much as i would like to see this band, there is no way in hell that i am going to pay the stupidly extortionate prices for tickets to download.
factor in nearly £200 for ticket and travel and then around £30 per crate of lager that you can buy in a supermarket for £12 and you have the mother of all rip offs.. and i dont doubt that there will only be a handfull of decent bands.
If monsters of rock is back again they should be headlining that instead of kiddie fest download.
