Female-fronted Dutch art-rok act THE GATHERING has confirmed two Greek live dates in February. The details are as follows:

Feb. 03 - Mylos - Thessaloniki, GRE
Feb. 04 - Gagarin 205 - Athens, GRE

A video clip of THE GATHERING performing the song "Waking Hours" at the Paradiso in Amsterdam, Holland on September 19, 2006 has been posted online at Google Video. The complete live show is still available for streaming at Fabchannel.com.

THE GATHERING recently returned to the road in Europe after they had to cancel the first month of their European "Homelands" tour back in April due to vocalist Anneke van Giersbergen suffering an obstinate bronchial and sinus infection.

I just recently heard of the gathering and i picked up their home cd. the singer has such a beautiful voice and the music is trance inducing. I will definetly pick up more of their cds. i didn't think i would like it, since i mostly listen to death and extreme metal but i was pleasantly surprised. I highly reccomend them.
