Hammerheart Records have switched to Manic Music for their stateside distribution
Hammerheart Records today announces its restructure plans for the United States. Effective immediately, Hammerheart and Philadelphia-based Manic Music will come together with Manic's staff handling all day-to-day and marketing activities for the Valkenburg-based label.
Hammerheart President Guido Heijnens says, "Manic Music is exactly the company that we are looking for, basically backing us up on anything that does not function from over here in Holland. We are excited to see people as experienced as they are working with us in the future. For sure our releases are in good hands and we will see both Manic and Hammerheart make a big impact on today's Metal scene. Together we will bring you Music for Generation Armageddon !!!"
Manic Music's Paula Hogan adds, "Hammerheart continues to be a growing company that has a solid roster of talent that shows promise for the Americas. Manic is excited of the opportunity to be working with the knowledgable Hammerheart staff and looks forward to developing a solid and prosperous relationship."
Hammerheart Records was formed in 1995. The label is currently home to Dismember, Control Denied, Primordial, Blood Red Throne, Alas, Sinister, and Dimension F3H, and has released recordings from The Ravenous, Hagalaz Runedance, and the popular Dimmu Borgir/Old Man's Child split ep, among others. In 2000, the label entered the American market, working in cooperation with Pittsburgh-based Martyr Music Group.
MANIC Music is a promotion company that was formed by Paula Hogan in 1998. Hogan expanded the companies operations in 2000 adding sales and marketing services. The company has since handled all daily US operations for London-based Candlelight Records and coordinates promotion and publicity for Yorkshire-based Peaceville Records and London-based Snapper Music.
Hammerheart is finalizing new distribution and plans late summer releases to include new albums from Internecine, Primordial and Necrophobic. Further details will follow.
