Stop trying to label it so much. They're doing what they want to do, and it sounds original, sub-genres are pretty much retarded because they're just like society and racism- they split up a mass of something into little things so people can pick on the stuff they don't like. I don't think like that. I don't hate "all nu metal and emo music", I pick bands I like and pick bands I don't like. It doesn't matter what group they're in, what matters is if it sounds good. One group can't be ALL bad, just some bands that you might've heard in the subgenre turned out to be a bunch of ballsucking retards that play guitars with their elbows or something. Mudvayne is metal, I haven't heard any other band even remotely similar to them, so there's no subgenre for them, they're just metal, their own kind!
