Sweden's Darkane have completed work on their third full-length album, Expanding Senses, for Nuclear Blast Records.

Recorded over a period of three months by Daniel Bergstrand and co-producer Örjan Örnkloo, the album is said to feature a different vocal take that's more "Chuck Billy" than "high-pitched screams." Also, former vocalist Lawrence Mackrory will also make a comeback appearence on one track with vocalist Andreas Sydow. Those expecting Expanding Senses to be a softer effort, Darkane contend that the sound is "very brutal and fat!" Expanding Senses is set for an August 18, 2002 release through Nuclear Blast Records
