Thats No Sh*t....this guy has one of the best voices in metal history.......I was and still am a huge Dokken fan.... Don Dokken has never gotten the respect he deserves as a metal vocalist... From their debut up through the new stuff....Dokken has always been a good metal band....
I hated to see George Lynch go.....but Lynch Mob had a couple excellent releases and old Furious George is still making good guitar based music...another of many very underated guitarists...
But back to the subject.. this guy is amazing....I have seen him(Don Dokken) perform many times and he has never put on a bad show... Although before Lynch left the band...there was ALOT of tension between him and Don...I actually seen them argue onstage, during shows, as to what songs they were gonna play...but that didnt have anything to do with his vocal abilities...
A true metal singer..... Rockin with what..? yeah thats right....Dokken \m/

..as I said in the other forum..great minds think alike....
Now as far as an answer to my own question for you Blackdog.... My favorite Zeppelin is all of them !!!!!!!!!!!!!..but I have a tendency to listen to Physical Graffitti and Presence more than all others..I think one of my favorite songs of all is Achillies Last Stand....what a fantastic example of great songwriting....Bonhams playing in that particular song is almost Godlike....Have you seen the Zeppelin DVD set..? the footage of that song (ALS) is phenomenal...
They were such a fantastic band....I only wish I would have been old enough to see them in the 70s...Seeing the whole Plant/Page thing was great...but seeing them in their prime would have been so much better....although watching the DVD footage cranked thru 500 watts of home theatre surround is quite a nice treat.... the neighbors hate it tho.... Oh well FU&K em.....
and now back to Dokken...Dons voice still sounds amazing doesnt it.?..I think my favorite Dokken is Tooth and Nail.... "cause I got bullets.....Bullets to spare"..!!!!!!!!! Back for the Attack was also quite good but then the stuff from the late 90s wasnt bad either.... all in all a great song writer and singer.....glad to see he is still out there doing what he does best....
