Got to agree with you there Brad. I have been listening to this band for awhile and i loved there new album. When i saw the review for their new cd and only getting a 2/5 i was pretty p***ed off as it also ended with that the album was just a bunch of noise. f*** that. This band kicks ass.

bradisp***ed is on the money in post #1. this band is absolutely one of the best metal bands i have heard in a long time. messhuggah groove w/ slayer riffs. the review on this site kind of surprised me as well, but they are not metalcore and since that is the hottest thing out there right now i suppose even some contributors to this site have been poisoned into loving that garbage. anyway, Gojira is the real deal and their tour w/ Amon Amarth and Children of Bodom is gonna be out of this world. i cant wait.

Well people have different tastes in music of course. I liked some of the songs on Gojira's latest, but wasn't overall impressed with the entire effort either. And God Forbid does nothing for me either.

Musically I like this cover of "Escape" but when the vocals kicked in, it knocked it down a notch for me.
