its so nice to see something quality coming from the so called nu metal category.deftones have risen above the 'water' and proved that the staying power they posses is strong.look at korn? a charicature of once was....limp bizkit? who? exactly. deftones are a band that pushes the envelope and come out with music that pushes borders and excites the ears with something different..if it was white pony part 5 would we like it..no......we would rip it apart as a retread..open your ears and accept new sounds/Team sleep anyone?

Good question....I honestly hadn't given it any thought until you brought it up.
It's a condition Dave Mustaine once gave himself, and I've actually woken up once or twice with a minor version of it. It's when you sleep in such a way that your arm suffers from lack of proper circulation because maybe you rest your head or body on it in awkward way...Think of a limb thats gone to sleep on you and multiply that times a hundred.
I know theres a medical term for this but it escapes me at the moment...It's kinda scary and if you're unlucky it can actually do lasting damage.

I have a weakness for this band....
I look forward to this album not as a metal fan but as someone who listens to a broad array of rock and experimental music as well.
This band along with Tool, Pantera and Metallica were the template for my music taste at 15 years old.
10 years later I'm listening to much heavier stuff but I've also developed an ear for weird experimental music and I think Deftones were instrumental in steering me toward music that was odd and even under the radar.
