Pending Murder Trial In 'Korn Concert' Killer

Bill Montgomery of the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that a 25-year-old Douglas County man was bound over to Fulton Superior Court on felony murder and aggravated assault charges Tuesday in the death of an Atlanta man during a fight Aug. 1 at a KORN concert.
Bond for Michael Scott Axley was set at $40,000, and Judge Richard Hicks ordered him to stay out of Fulton County except to visit his lawyer. Hicks also imposed a dusk curfew and said Axley could not consume alcohol while free on bond.
The victim, 30-year-old Andy Richardson of Atlanta, was attending a concert by KORN at the HiFi Buys Ampitheater.
Atlanta police homicide Detective Brett Zimbrick testified at the hearing that Richardson was knocked to the ground by a punch from Axley, fatally hit his head on the concrete floor at the former Lakewood Ampitheater and was punched twice more as he lay unconscious.

That's a new detail... I don't like it. I mean, I'm all for kicking a man while he's down (especially if you're out to be the one walking away), but punching (or kicking) a man while he's down and already out is a totally different story.
I'm beginning to think this drunk f*** knew what he was doing.
Lynch him.
One less piece of sh** on planet earth, one less piece of sh** our tax dollars have to support while he's serving his term.

i agree, he should be terminated. before i was on the ropes about whether to inject this f***er or to just let him rot. but now seeing as he was beating up on a guy he'd already knocked unconcious, there's no question about what to do with him. FRY THE SON OF A b****

heh. thanks lorlor. I don't believe mugshots can really give you much indepth knowledge of a person, but he does have a somewhat recognisable face - a problem for him if he plans on doing a runner. Bet he has NO idea how to change your own appearance, either. Maybe he's JUST smart enough not to run for it. He could yet get away with manslaughter...lol;
"Get away with crucifixion?!! Its - "
" - best thing the Romans ever did for us."
"WHAT?!?!!"
"Oh yes. If we didn't have crucifixion, this country'd be in a right bloody mess!"
sorry, I'm a Python fanatic :P

Remember when I said something about waiting to have all the facts before I thought manslaughter would be a fair judgement....
The Korn Concert Killer (what a title to be stuck with for life) should get murder 1....Hitting someone when they're already on the ground is sh**ty enough, while uncoscious THAT is f***ing evil, twice?.......Fry him.

I dunno about regional laws, but hitting/kicking someone when they're down is "assault w/ intent to maime" as far as I know. Manslaughter or murder doesn't really matter in the end I don't think. Maslaughter + some other charges tacked on could be the same as murder in the end. As long as he gets locked up and is held responsible for his actions.
