Demanufacture, Soul Of A New Machine, and Obsolete. Archetype has a few good songs on it.

DON'T EVEN BOTHER WITH TRANSGRESSION.

My first Fear Factory album was Remanufacture, and it remains my favourite. Digimortal was a little more nu-metalish than I wanted it to be. Linchpin and Concrete are good albums to get once you've aclimatised yourself to the band.

to slayerdisciple, start off with demanufacture, which in my opinion is one of the best metal albums of all time. then obsolete, and then archetype. after that then maybe soul of a new machine. as far as transgression goes i think it is a really good album, some people might not like it because burton sings way more on it than any other album. everyone remember one thing, fear factory was the first metal band to sing and scream all in the same song. they were the first to come up with the formula in 1992 with soul of a new machine. demanufacture just perfected that formula. i do have to admit i think digimortal is the weakest album followed by soul of a new machine. just my opinion

Obsolete, Demanufacture and Archetype all have their moments.....

I remember the first time I heard "Shock" I almost drove my car into an interstate divider...That song did a number on me, Opened the door to Industrial metal as a love of mine.

Type O have kinda gone over the wayside with their last two records. I think a best of would be Bloody Kisses and October Rust remastered and released as a double album. That was their creative zenith, though I'm holding out hope for the next one.
