This album is awesome!! I got it as soon as it came out this morning. It is Phuking sick!! These guys keep evolving no stagnation here. I hear lots of comparisons to Pantera, but Pantera is dead and gone and LOG is poised to stomp the guts out of the world. The 2nd track is smoking and I love the sentiment. P.S. Damageplan is a sugar coated peice of sh**e.

I listened to the bulk of it while eating chili, lifting weights and putting a resume together so my opinion should be taken with a grain of salt (as always really) but I liked it.
A few surprises, most of them pleasent....But they aren't destroying their formula by any means....Aol may think Redneck is the standout track, but it's by far the albums most boring and predictable song.
4 of a possible 5 stars from me. I think I'll end up picking it up or downloading it from iTunes.

I just picked Sacrament up earlier today, and let me tell you, I think it's amazing. It may not be my personal LoG favorite (That still goes to As the Palaces Burn), but damn it's a good addition to their collection. Again We Rise and Pathetic are my favorites thus far. Damn good stuff.

I just got it and listened to it all, it's pretty f***ing sweet! My favourite songs are Again We Rise, Requiem, More Time To Kill and Beating on Death's Door. But before it came out everyone thought the chorus of Redneck was "This is a mother f***in' imitation", but it's invitation.

Yo, B-Rad, when I first heard the song, that's what I thought he said. XD Then I listened to it a few more times and my buddy told me it was invitation. Later I felt like a complete idiot, but now it's all good. I'm just happy to say that Lamb of God still sounds as great as usual. A little different, but all bands evolve. Here's hoping they play some new stuff at Gigantour 2006. \m/

Alright. I sat down and gave this album a listien. ....I liked it. Very well put together. This band should be around for a long time. They are really playing their nuts off. If you hav'nt heard the entire album, give it a spin. Its different, and I like it because it has so many "old School" sounding riffs. Thank you Lamb of God for keeping it real. BLEED BLACK LABEL!!!!!!!!!!

not really my cup of tea....when New American Gospel came out, i thought these guys were gods. the new album, although it is not my favorite has definitely sured up there spot in the forefront of the mainstream metal scene and there is nothing wrong w/ that. if a band like avenged sevenfold is gonna be put out on a major label to the masses, its nice to have lamb of god out there too in order to give people some real metal to listen to. they have paid there dues and deserve their major label status and all that comes w/ it. good for LOG....picking up where pantera left off......

I finally got around to listening to the whole album, every other time I was interupted so I only heard the first 5 songs. It sounds awesome. Absolutely no letdown from the first few albums. They have evolved a bit, their songs have become a bit more "user friendly" but I don't see anything wrong with that. I've noticed a few people not liking "Redneck". While it isn't my favorite off of "Sacrament" I think that song is killer. I agree it sounds a bit like Pantera but who cares. Pantera was killer, LoG is killer. I'll be they don't mind being told it sounds like Pantera. Who wouldn't want to sound like one of the true metal superstars?
