Winamp Exploit - Upgrade to 2.8!
A bug in Winamp 2.79's mini-browser could create a buffer overflow from malformed ID3v2 entries, thereby allowing malicious code to be executed on the affected user's system. While this effect may be described as a "virus in MP3's", it is more a software exploit and you should not fear getting a "virus" from MP3s themselves. The simple solution is to download the latest version of Winamp (currently 2.80a), disable the mini-browser, or use other software for playing your MP3s.
