STRAPPING YOUNG LAD have embraced the fact that they are the bastard children of this year’s Ozzfest and in turn redefined the lyrics to “You Suck” to further represent their feelings on the massive summer festival. Jed Simon (guitars) further elaborates, “Playing ‘You Suck’ every day on the Ozzfest has become a bit of a legend. We keep hearing people talking about it, and Devin’s slightly changed lyrics are always hilarious. It’s cool to look around while we are playing it, and see the crews and other band members cracking up! Bob Meadows, vocalist from A Life Once Lost, has been joining us everyday on stage to help with the backup vocal duties and it is definitely a sight to behold.”

Yeah, this years ozzfest wasn't very good. I only liked a couple bands. Last year was a lot better and that was my first Ozzfest so I can't compare the older ones than that but I heard 2004 is that best.

a good friend of mine got the chance to go to 'fest 04. from what he said it was one of the best they ever had. '05 wasn't bad though. second stage was good and In Flames and BLS stand tore it up. this year though with sh** bands like avenged sevenfold on main, i wouldn't dream of paying to see it.
