Oakland's Extreme Metal brood ALL SHALL PERISH, who's sophomore album The Price Of Existence is released today, have been on the road almost a full month with Suicide Silence, Too Pure To Die, Nights Like These and Light This City. Kicking things off in California and the Southwest, the tour has since hit the Heartland (where the band's van broke down in need of air conditioning repairs) up to Michigan and across Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York. Next was the Northeast and down the East Coast through Virginia, North Carolina and Georgia as the band invade Sector 7G tonight in Augusta and The Masquerade in Atlanta tomorrow night on August 9th. ALL SHALL PERISH have been through a lot already but they've got another 4 weeks out before seeing their homes and families. Drummer Matt Kuykendall lends some words about the gruesome and successful run of dates so far while also sharing the band's excitement about the new album...
"Tour has been insane, great shows every night...the kids have been going nuts. We had our van breakdown a few times, and a few kids got broke during breakdowns but the show must go on. New York gets the mosh award and Tulsa, Oklahoma gets the worst weather ever award. We saw our friends in suffocation and got to hear the new album....it rules, everyone watch out for that shit!!! Check the tour journal on our website for more details on the dirt! And go pick up our new album today! We couldn't be happier with it and I think we're gonna show people what this band is capable of, thanks for all the support!"
