I liked the interview, very interesting. The live performances.....Hmmmm. I did some searching and they were playing basically to the crew there...there's no audience. So it may appear they were a little flat, but it's pretty hard to get fired up when there's nobody there to get a vibe from.
Apparently all live performances on The Rollins Show are like that which is a shame because the bands he has on his show deserve a live audience. Don't blame Rollins, blame the people who are paying (or lack of $$$) to run the show.
