Korn Ask Witnesses To Come Forward Following Fan Death

Korn offered their condolences Wednesday (August 2) to the family of Andy Richardson, who was beaten during a stop on their Family Values Tour on Sunday night and died on Tuesday from the injuries.
"All the bands on the Family Values Tour offer their sincerest condolences and prayers to the family of 30-year-old Andy Richardson," read Korn's statement.
Richardson was beaten by two men at the concert and fell, seriously injuring his head. He was then taken to a local hospital and declared brain-dead by doctors following the incident at Atlanta's HiFi Buys Amphitheatre on the second stop of this year's Family Values Tour.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Richardson was pronounced dead at 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, though his body was being kept alive to find recipients for his organs. Eddie Arellano, a friend of Richardson's who attended the show with him, said Richardson had been confronted earlier in the evening by a rowdy group of men who were "just way too drunk. They had too many fights." One of the men tumbled down a hill and crashed into Richardson's group of friends, which WSB-TV reported included a pregnant woman and a mentally impaired child.
Another friend told the paper that a brief scuffle ensued and the men returned later and took Richardson's baseball hat. "When they took his hat he stood up and said, 'We've already had a fight. I don't want to have any problems,' " Arellano said. "The guy threw the hat back at him. And when he [Richardson] caught it, the guy hit him in the face and he [Richardson] hit the ground and hit the concrete with the back of his head. He just collapsed." Arellano said the person who threw the punch then ran off with his friend.
According to Korn's statement, the incident occurred during the Deftones set, "before tour headliners Korn took the stage. Korn are appalled at the actions of these men and are imploring anyone who witnessed this senseless act or has any information about the attack to please immediately come forward by contacting local authorities."

^ stick the the material at hand, eh jack-ass? This isn't a place to gripe about your personal vendettas, boo-hoo's or what not. Where this happened, while listening to whom while it happened, and whether or not the band sucks is inconsequential at this point. FOCUS on the material NOT the people posting it. sh** man, take a logic class or four, attack the argument not the person (because that's a logical fallicy).
KD is actually probably quite right about this one.
Don't think we're buds, 'cause I've ripped on him before too.

I was there it was a good show although i did not see fist hand of this happening , i was sitting in the front and looked back and noticed a huge crowd gathering but i though maybe just another fight since a couple were breaking out here and there , some one also started a fire on the lawn i Think people should be more responsible to their actions and not get so out of control and stupid . kids attend these shows and its sad to see that this type of stuff happens....R.I.P.

LMAO!!!
kornhomo....LOL.....why are you so bitter? I don't think KORNDOGG is a metal expert and I don't think you are either...so why does it matter to you? Anyways, the band cares about what happened to Andy Richardson. How could they not he was a fan of theirs.
