The long-delayed Alice In Chains best-of set, "The Essential Alice In Chains", has been bumped back to a September 05th release date through Legacy/Sony.

Shouldn't a true fan already have all of these tracks? What is the point of buying it? I am sure there is something on it that is way different and unheard, otherwise I'll save my money.

That band has neglected Down in a Hole for as long as I can remember.

It was rarely in their live sets, it was never acknowledged as a hit on their "Greatest Hits" album and now this.....

The sad thing is, it's a good representation of the bands core material but alot of good sh** is left out.
