RateYourMusic.com has a list of the "100 worst album covers ever" complete with mostly witty commentary. Of course there are some classic and not so classic metal albums on there. And if that list is not enough, more lists are linked at the bottom of the article.

I thought the Anthrax one was a lame attempt, but the Ozzy and Black Sabbath picks weren't too far off base, IMO. There were some good ones (i.e. fitting picks) in there though.

Yeah the Prince one is pretty disgusting. And nobody should really get mad that certain artists are on here like Anthrax and Ozzy. It's just cover arts it's no big deal, it's just showing how bad and funny some of the past albums have been.
