When I was in 3rd. grade my class had show and tell day, bashful as I was I brought a set of bongos and a Santana record and played along to a song. My parents put me in a Catholic private school where we lived in Southgate California. They had a school band, I was in that class only for a year, marching drum was not what I wanted but I enjoyed it very much. At age 10 my dad saw my persistent interest in drums and agreed to buy me a 5 piece Maxwin by Pearl drumset for $350.I was a KISS fan at the time and the first record I ever bought was KISS Alive, I taught myself to play "100,000 years". I remember being the talk of the town for knowing that solo. Some guy I knew during that time asked me if I knew the drum solo in the song "Moby d***". I was very aware of Led Zeppelin but exposing myself to the record Led Zeppelin II showed me a side of music that I wasn't too familiar with, The Blues. An amazing amount of feeling was what this band had, and not only as a whole but the drummer John Bonham played with soo much emotion that I felt I learned that element and took it with me through my career. Later I learned this was Crescendo's and Decrescendo's.
HEHEHEHEHE.................. embarrasin eh? dat lombardo early bio. this sh**head is not metal.

Well, just listened to Jihad and I have to agree with some of you in here... the song grows on you. Been listening to Slayer since 1984... Hell Awaits wasn't available in Denmark before that year... I was 7 at that time.
Now I know that this might offend some of you Slayer lovers but the only album I found tidious was South of Heaven (Don't worry, Still got it in my collection). I can't wait to hear the rest of the CD though as someone pointed out it's the same content.
And btw razor: I hope you'll be proven wrong about it not being a good album... time'll tell.

To coco you F-ucking clown ha! ha! You slag off Slayer yet you like Kiss they suck you P-rick. Lombardo is one of the finest drummers around better than that knob in Kiss they have to wear make up to try and distract you from the fact that they're C-rap!!!!!!!!!!

Slayer... One of the best and truest metal/hardcore bands on this planet. As long as they are alive, I dont have to worry about not having a good evil album to listien to. Slayer have a message. ..And that message is F@#% you if you dont like em. They dont care. They refuse to bow down to anyone or any god. Pure metal against the grain.

coco can go suck d-icks on a spanish plane. panzy motherf-ucker! cancer awaits you. The music slayer makes is about evil deeds, beliefs and feelings. which extremely successfull metal bands have members that are serial killers?? anyone?? are you a serial killer?? do you confront f-uckwits such as yourself and beat the f-uck out of them for looking at you?? slayers new album is true to the original slayer theme! sure there are new types of music and exciting artists coming into the scene in the last decade, but this album heads back to the original sounds and lyrics that were current in the pre "decade of aggression" days. anyway, i think these new tracks are great! they're slayer, true to the genre and the fans! evil lyrics and fast a$$ drums and dark guitar work. slayer. if you dont like the music slayer brings out - make something better yourself. I guarantee you can't. no-one can make slayers music like slayer. go f-uck yourself coco. slayer to the death!!!

Hey c***-o, blow me, you n***** loving spic sack of crap. you know nothing at all about metal and have proven that you also have nothing better to do with your life than sit on here and try to be some sort of funny instigator of sh**. and RememberMetal? is absolutely right. The only thing is that you are not almost pathetic, you have completly crossed that threshold

Oh yeah, I almost forgot...cant wait to hear the new Slayer stuff. saw them last weekend here in mn and they played cult, but the sound was so horrendous that you couldn't make out any of the guitars or anything. However, Lombardo was at the top of his game, as usual

Whoah there, cowboy. Let's lay off the f-word. Try being more articulate, so he can really feel your hate. Instead of swearing and using words you know will get edited anyway, use more creative terms that will let him know how you really feel. Words like "anal" and "d***face" would really help get your point across. And if you're really feeling adventurous, add in a few Spanish and French words. Mix 'em in right, and you'll have him writhing in self-hatred before you know it.

I never thought i would say this but maybe SLAYER needs to call it quits. "Cult" and "Jihad" are crap. I' ll take this back if the rest of this cd kicks ass, but I'm not bettin on it.
