MEGADETH's as-yet-untitled new album will be released on Halloween - October 31st. Leader Dave Mustaine is currently working with co-producer Jeff Balding, who helmed 2004's The System Has Failed. The band, completed by guitarist Glen Drover, drummer Shawn Drover and bassist James Lomenzo recently returned from SARM Recording Studios just outside of London, England and are expected to resume recording this month in Los Angeles, CA. As previously reported, Mustaine told BW&BK recently that the record consists of twelve songs - "11 for an American release and 12 for Japan." As for song titles or album, Mustaine remarked, "You know me, these song titles change everyday! And I won't know the record title until I've committed to the damn artwork."

I'm going to be honest, I never really cared for Megadeth that much. But the only albums that I really like are countdown to extinction and rust in peace. I never got into the other stuff. But it's good that Megadeth is still around.

Dave Mustaine should just give up everything after Rust in Peace has been sh**! FIne, I'll give him Countdown to Extiction but albums like Youthanasia (what in the f*** was A Tout Le Monde?!?) Risk, The World Needs a Hero and The System Has Failed were crap, I think Dave Mustain has failed big time with putting out decent metal records. Just unplug that amp and put your guitar down I can't hear on more riff from this has been!!!

Dave Mustaine IS Megadeth. I like all the musicians that have been in Megadeth and I like all the musicians who are serving time in Megadeth now. I got my fingers crossed for this band. The talent is there. I just hope they use it wisely. We dont need another "Risk" album. We need another "Rust in Peace" album. Ohhh the thought of it sends chills down me spine. Imagine it.

Every Megadeth album is a dave mustaine solo project? "It's not a megadeth album without Ellefson?" Hey check this out: He's the f***ing BASS player. If you dislike megadeth, at least have a valid reason...not some dumbass sh** like that. It's not like Ellefson is cliff burton or les claypool. He's a quite UNREMARKABLE bass player. I think that Megadeth is teh Pwnz0r over metallica but get over the lineup change sh**. Every megadeth album is a dave mustaine solo project...it doesn't matter who else is in the band. don't you get that?
