Annihilator Confirm Band Line-Up For Metalway Festival Appearances

ANNIHILATOR will take a short break from recording their follow-up to 2005's Schizo Deluxe CD to play both Metalway Festivals in Spain on July 28th and 29th. Following news that drummer Mike Mangini will be playing on the new album fans at the band's official website have been asking who will be part of the band line-up for the gigs. Guitarist/founder Jeff Waters has issued the following update:

"Russ Bergquist is with us on bass, Mr. (Dave) Padden on vocals and guitar, drummer Ryan Ahoff (from Winnipeg, Canada) and some guy named Jeff Waters on guitar. It is one hell of a line-up."

Waters recently issued the following studio update:

"Dave Padden and I have been locked up in the studio for two weeks now working on guitars and vocals for the new one. He is going to be the first Annihilator guitarist to play rhythm guitar on an Annihilator CD, as well as sing. I guess that makes us a 4-piece band live then! I'm also going to sing some of the tracks I sang on previous records, like King Of The Kill, Refresh The Demon and others. METAL RULES!!!"
