A low-quality, amateur video clip of LAMB OF GOD performing their new new song "Redneck" on June 14 in Columbus, Ohio at the opening night of the Unholy Alliance tour has been posted online at Google Video.
"Redneck" is the first single off LAMB OF GOD's new album, "Sacrament", due on August 22 via Epic. A video for the song has reportedly been shot by director Bill Fishman (EAGLES OF DEATH METAL, GOOD CHARLOTTE).
"Sacrament" was produced by Machine (BLOODSIMPLE, WHITE ZOMBIE), who also helmed the group's 2004 effort, "Ashes of the Wake".

Remembermetal?, i absolutely agree w/ everything that you have said, word for word pretty much.....the new track is impressive, the riffing is very much in the vein of old Burn the Priest stuff, but im guessing that they may draw more from their back catalogue on this album and that would be for the better as i thought the previous three LOG records were better than "Ashes", but had no where near the production quality......cant wait, hope it comes out on schedule in august

I love lamb of god. they are one of my favorite bands all the way. but this new album coming out on epic worries me. what if they turn into a band like mudvayne. (but DO NOT compare them to each other style whys) i think that epic records might have pressured them into more "catchy" music what worries me alot. so hopefully that doesn't happen!

What a breath of fresh air Lamb of God bring to the METAL world. It is always good to hear of anything new from these guys. Killer drummer and those guitar players just feed off each other. I hope these guys stick around for a long time. So nice to have good metal ringing in my ears agian. Thank God/Satan/Whoever that Limp d***$!#@ and Korn crap is over. LOG save us from crappy metal.

Hey guys, I saw LOG in jersey over by newerk, and off the bat how come in the pit (well where the pit should be) a person can sit there with a video camera. What a bunch of p***ies we had two giant circle pits and we where ALL moshing. Second off you only heard one song and its a really nice metal song. Sure its not a Ruin but maybe they never wanted to make another ruin. You guys need to all see them live then you will realize its just bullsh** to hear there going soft. Really LOG has gotten harder live then they ever where and why is it that you only count vox/lyric in log. Comparing BTP and LOG in terms of old alblums and new alblums is pointless when for some stupid reason you only listen to Randy. Just check out the drums and how much better they have become, as far as the guitar an easy example is compare "Remorse if for the dead " and " Goatfish" or just any btb song. If you really dig into the lyrics new LOG has some point to it, not just writting small poems and fabercating choruses. If you think i am just comming out of left feild read on www.lamb-of-god.com interviews with randy and other LOG members.

Yeah, and Britney Spears has sold waaay more than Korn, so she clearly must be better by your logic. Gimme a break. The fact that an extreme metal band like Lamb of God can get a deal with a big label like Epic and still make extreme music says a lot more than a radio-friendly band's sales marks on big labels for their entire [relevant] existence.

I AM QUOTING THE FACT THAT HE SAYS KORN IS OVER, SELLING MILLIONS MEANS YOUR OVER?
ANSWER ME THAT!
BRITNEY SPEARS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FACT THAT ITS LAMB OF GODS TIME AND KORN IS OVER, OR sh**TY METAL AS HE CALLED IT!
I WOULD JUST LIKE TO KNOW HOW THATS POSSIBLE.

why are we still talking about korn
nobody in here who understands musical structures and/or plays an instrument would ever take this band seriously. they've done whatever they could to pander to children's attention defecit disorders.
korn - adored by simple minds

People shouldn't judge a band on album sales. And w/e, yeah any band on the unholy alliance tour is way better than Korn. And I'm not just saying that,I used to be a fan of Korn not too long ago. I still don't mind them, but they are not even close to being in my top 10 bands.

LOG are far from my favorite band but they're an entertaining act nonetheless.....It's good to hear they brought Machine on as producer....I liked the music on As the Palaces Burn better than the music on Ashes of the Wake....but the vocal performances were so much better on "Ashes" than "Palaces" it was more than worth the price of admission......
Good stuff, I'll be in line somewhere for the new LOG album on the week of release.
