Death metal stalwarts Kataklysm will enter Montreal's Victor Studios in May with producer J-F Dagenais to begin recording their brand new album, entitled Shadows & Dust, for a November 4th release through Nuclear Blast Records. According to singer Maurizio Iacono, “since our US touring got cancelled last year with Marduk, we had some time on our hands and in between the two Euro tours, we started working on new material. I've never seen Kataklysm being so at ease with writing. The ideas flow, the energy is there and the songwriting is beyond everything we have done before. The new album has big shoes to fill because of Epic, but we are not worried at all. We are getting wiser and better with age and I'm proud of that. This new album which I have titled Shadows & Dust will be the logical continuation to Epic. We are determined to make this scene shake with our next album and by the sounds of the new stuff, you guys better buckle up for the ride of your lifetime!!”
