Six Ounce Gloves Ready For Album Release, Tour Dates
Six Ounce Gloves releases their debut album, Timing is Everything, on June 6, 2006 through Rock Ridge Music. Bringing melodic riffs and harmonies to their aggressive rock anthems, Six Ounce Gloves sets themselves apart as a band to watch.
Hailing from Fresno, CA, Six Ounce Gloves got their big break when they opened for Korn after winning a local battle of the bands. This performance immediately created interest with fans attending the show
and their song, “Where Do I Go” became the #2 requested song on the Fresno hard rock radio station 103.7 KRZR. Since then, Six Ounce Gloves has been asked to open for Papa Roach, Chevelle, Breaking
Benjamin, Taproot among others.
KRZR is already playing the lead track, “Flee” from the new album and the band is receiving tremendous feedback from listeners. The staff invited Six Ounce Gloves to play their annual Manfest blowout on
Saturday, May 13, 2006. Six Ounce Gloves also played during the PPV World Extreme Cagefighting event on May 5 at the Palace in Lemoore, CA.
Six Ounce Gloves has harnessed an energy that is completely raw and even egalitarian by including the audience in the performance. Guitarist James Reynolds describes the scene, “The live shows are
seriously nuts. Our fans are up front and know the words to all the songs. Sometimes Mitch Gordon (the singer) will stop singing and the crowd will sing the words right back, even getting on stage with us
to sing along. We believe in holding nothing back and leave it all on stage. Our energy is both palpable and contagious, with the fans wanting more by the end of the night.”

I'm from fresno and this band sucks. Everybody is making a big deal of this band. I seen them live and they don't put on a good show. Their music sucks. If this band represents frresno in the music industry then i might as well hang myself.
