70000 Tons of Metal - The World's Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise

"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Children of Bodom, Alexi Laiho, Nuclear Blast Records

Finnish melodic metallers Children Of Bodom are tentatively scheduled to enter either Astia or Abyss Studios in August to record their fourth full-length album.

I've been writing a lot of new music,” said frontman and guitarist Alexi Laiho to www.soneraplaza.fi. “I feel that the new stuff is even rawer than before.”

From Laiho’s previous words about record labels and recording a new album, it appears the group is getting closer to securing a new label deal. Last December, the frontman said Children Of Bodom would not work on a new album until label details were finalized. Of course, due to the band’s large buzz in Europe and Asia, a variety of labels are expected to offer deals, but we expect to see Children Of Bodom’s next release on Nuclear Blast Records.
