New York's The Red Death, who released an album with Metal Blade Records last year, have reportedly been dropped by the label. The move is rumored to be the result of "artistic differences," in addition to instability within the band. No official word has come down on the matter, however.

As previously reported, long time bassist Dominic Mastronunzio recently left the band amicably. Jack Portwood, bassist/singer of upstate NY's Highland Drive, was brought in as Mastronunzio's replacement. The Red Death were last reportedly practicing/writing/planning in preparation for studio time in late March or early April.
