Sirius, Nuclear Blast Records, Nuclear Blast, Spectral Transition
Portugal's Sirius have gone through massive music and line-up changes since the band's last full-length Spectral Transition - Dimension Sirius as well as inked a deal with Nuclear Blast Records.
According to Sirius mainman [Nexion].Draconiis, the band's new musical direction "be a great leap into the future" and may or may not include influences from Static-X, Strapping Young Lad, Fear Factory, Machine Head or Slipknot and Rob Zombie. In any event, Sirius' new members include Ca-2 (ex-Red Harvest) as new drummer, Konstrukt (ex-Myrkskog) on bass and vocals, LRZ (also in Red Harvest) on sampling and electronics, D-Void as new lead guitarist and [Nexion].Draconiis on guitars. For the time being, it appears Sirius will reside in Norway where the main bulk of the band is from.
