Orlando, Florida metal sensation TRIVIUM were recently named Yahoo! Music's "Who's Next?" winner for the month of December. Accumulating 37% of the votes, TRIVIUM won an exclusive performance and interview that is now available at Yahoo.com. The band stopped by Yahoo!'s L.A. studios on November 28 to perform two songs from "Ascendancy", along with taping an interview. "This is absolutely amazing," said TRIVIUM frontman Matt Heafy. "Never in our wildest dreams did we think we would win this thing. We are honored and humbled by it." You can watch the interview and performance of "Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr".
TRIVIUM used their day off from the CHILDREN OF BODOM tour on December 13 to film a video for "Dying in Your Arms", which was directed by Dale Resteghini (MUDVAYNE, HATEBREED, FALL OUT BOY). The clip is expected to begin airing sometime in January.

Personally, Trivium is one of my top 5 favorite bands along with Pantera, Mudvayne, Black Label Society and Damage Plan. I don't understand why you all hate them. Their music kicks a$$ and they put on a pretty damned good live show for being as new as they are. Do any of you really think they would have made it onto the Ozzfest tour without some talent?

i know that its cool to hate trivium, but ill preface what im about to say with the fact that i am the biggest Behemoth fan on the planet. However, props to trivium for their success. Just saw them w/ Bodom and Amon Amarth, and they definitely need to tighten up their live show....a lot, but those two guitarists are very talented and have a long road ahead.......Good luck guys, and on the next album maybe a little less "core" and a little more "metal"..
