the used? give me an instance where i have ever stated i enjoy listening to the used. or any fa**oty pop/punk band for that matter.
and for christs sake, slipknot is terribly overrated and simply not up to par with most metal these days.
for REAL metal, check out Wintersun, Nevermore, Necrophagist, etc.

"the groups you have named are not real metal"
...you can't be serious. you are actually denying the fact that wintersun, nevermore and necrophagist are real metal? what are they then?
why am i even arguing, your probobly just a mainstream mallgoth d***face who wouldnt know any better. you probobly have never even heard the bands i mentioned.

i can't believe such crap is bundled with poser metal bands. the only track that is somewhat not 'poser' and such is "Lacuna Coil - "Our Truth" and maybe a few others that i haven't heard, but i doubt they are any different than the rest of the line up. soundtracks only mean major label music. just remember that. it means that the band needs to cash in on it. on the other hand, it also allows for lesser known bands to get heard cause people will buy the album because of mcr and the other bands. i think soundtracks and stuff like this should be a SERVICE to the local/unknown bands. just rememeber how much these bands (sorry i mean record labels, my bad) are making from being heard in the movie.

On the note of local/unknown bands....Here's one band that would be fitting for the soundtrack: Suspyre. Plenty of songs of their debut album would be f***ing perfect for a soundtrack to a movie like this. Do yourself a favor...check em out (power/prog metal fans...metal fans in general...) at www.suspyre.com. Hit em up at myspace.com/suspyre as well. I think you'll agree that they're better than most of the sh** bands on the soundtrack.

a lot of these bands i haven't heard of, but atreyu, slipknot and trivium kick ass...should be an interesting soundtrack....and why is it in every forum i read everyones so hostile....and why do people believe that they must only listen to metal to support the image they wish to portray...f***, i listen to rush more than i listen to slipknot atrey or trivium.
